About AIR-G

AIR-G is a team of radiologists, radiology residents, MR physicists, PhD students, Engineers, CT and MR technicians that collaborate in clinical studies on arthritis imaging and develop new techniques for imaging of arthritis.

Our research covers the entire field of arthritis imaging: Dual Energy CT and MRI are our core interest. Conventional radiography, ultrasound, SPECT-CT, PET-MR, and other multimodality techniques are available on site. We organize study set-up, data acquisition and post-processing, analyse data and publish in radiology as well as rheumatology journals.

We are based at Ghent University Hospital so we work with the departments of radiology and rheumatology (EULAR center of excellence)- a perfect mix between technology and clinics.
